1 - Technical Creative Director (Unreal Engine)

Job Description - Houston, Texas

Vision & Leadership: Serve as the bridge between creative intent and technical execution. You will oversee the visual and technical roadmap for high-fidelity real-time projects, ensuring the final output meets AAA standards. 


Pipeline Architecture: Design and optimize scalable production pipelines. You will lead the implementation of advanced features such as Lumen, Nanite, and PCG (Procedural Content Generation) to push the boundaries of realism. 


Cross-Functional Synergy: Lead a multidisciplinary team of Unreal Engineers, Technical Artists, and Level Designers. You will translate complex client requirements into actionable technical briefs and creative milestones.


Innovation R&D: Stay at the forefront of real-time technology. You will evaluate emerging tools (AI integration, MoCap, Virtual Production) and integrate them into the studio’s core service offerings. 


Quality Assurance: Conduct regular technical and creative audits. You are responsible for the final "look and feel" of the product, ensuring high performance ($60+$ FPS) without compromising visual integrity.   

Preferred Qualifications

Engine Mastery: 10+ years of experience in game development or real-time visualization, with at least 5 years of expert-level Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) experience. 


Technical Depth: Deep understanding of C++, Blueprints, HLSL/Shaders, and engine architecture. Ability to profile and optimize projects for various platforms (PC, Console, VR/AR). 


Artistic Eye: Strong foundation in traditional art principles—lighting, composition, color theory, and cinematography—specifically within a real-time environment. 


Proven Track Record: At least 2 shipped AAA titles or major enterprise-level Unreal projects in a leadership role (Lead Tech Artist, Technical Director, or similar). 


Academic/Soft Skills: Degree in Computer Science, Digital Arts, or equivalent experience. Exceptional communication skills to pitch high-level concepts to stakeholders and clients.

3 - Lead Gameplay Programmer (Unreal Engine)

Job Description - Nevada, LV

Technical Architecture: Architect and implement robust, scalable gameplay systems (character movement, combat, AI, and inventory) using Unreal Engine 5. 


Team Leadership: Manage a team of gameplay programmers, conducting code reviews, providing technical mentorship, and setting best practices for the department. 


Cross-Discipline Collaboration: Work closely with Designers and Artists to translate creative visions into technical requirements while maintaining performance budgets. 


Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks using Unreal Insights, profiling tools, and multi-threaded programming techniques.  


Workflow Innovation: Develop and refine internal tools and Blueprints/C++ hybrid workflows to increase the efficiency of the entire development pipeline. 


Bug & Risk Management: Oversee the triaging of critical gameplay bugs and proactively identify technical risks before they impact production timelines. 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience: 7+ years of professional game development experience with at least 2 shipped AAA titles in a senior or lead capacity. 


Deep Engine Knowledge: Expert-level mastery of UE5 internals, including Source Control, Memory Management, and Task Graph. 


Mathematics & Physics: Strong foundation in 3D math, linear algebra, and physics integration within a game engine environment. 


Networking: Experience developing multiplayer networked gameplay and familiarity with Unreal’s Replication Graph.  


Console Development: Direct experience optimizing and shipping on **PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X 


Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

2 - Unreal Engine Designer & Technical Artist

Role Description & Key Responsibilities - California & Remote

 Architect Immersive Environments: Conceptualize, design, and build high-fidelity 3D environments, ensuring a perfect balance between visual "wow-factor" and technical performance. 


Bridge the Gap: Act as the primary conduit between the creative art team and the engineering team, translating artistic vision into functional, optimized technical assets. 


Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize levels to maintain target frame rates across various platforms (PC, Console, or VR) without sacrificing visual integrity. . 


Pipeline Innovation: Develop and maintain streamlined art-to-engine pipelines, creating custom tools or scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve team efficiency. 


Lighting & Composition: Execute cinematic-quality lighting, post-processing effects, and color grading to define the mood and atmosphere of the project. 


Quality Assurance: Conduct regular visual audits and technical check-ins to ensure all assets meet the agency’s rigorous standards for stability and aesthetics. 

Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills

Engine Mastery: 5+ years of professional experience with Unreal Engine 4/5, with a deep understanding of the engine’s internal rendering pipeline. 


Technical Artistry: Expert-level knowledge of Lumen, Nanite, and Niagara VFX systems. Proficiency in creating complex, optimized Master Shaders. 


Blueprinting & Logic: Advanced proficiency in Blueprint visual scripting for creating interactive elements, dynamic lighting setups, and UI integration. . 


Asset Pipeline: Mastery of industry-standard DCC tools (Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender) and the Substance Suite for high-end texturing and PBR workflows. .  


Coding Foundations: Familiarity with C++ (specifically for Unreal) and shading languages like HLSL/GLSL is a significant advantage. 


Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead a creative sprint and explain complex technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders or clients.

4 - Junior Unreal Engine Developer

Job Description - Hamburg, Germany

Blueprint & Logic Development: Implement core gameplay mechanics and interactive systems using Unreal Engine Blueprints.  


Asset Integration: Import and configure 3D models, textures, and animations from the art pipeline into the engine environment. 


Scene Composition: Assemble and light levels/environments, ensuring visual fidelity and technical optimization are balanced. 


Performance Optimization: Assist in profiling and optimizing scenes to maintain high frame rates across PC and Console platforms. 


Bug Fixing & QA: Identify, document, and resolve technical issues and "edge case" bugs during the development lifecycle. 


Collaborative Sprinting: Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, reviews) and communicate progress clearly with Lead Developers. 

Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills

Technical Education: Bachelor’s degree in Game Development, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent portfolio experience).


C++ Fundamentals: A solid understanding of C++ within the context of Unreal Engine and an ability to transition from Blueprints to code. 


Portfolio/Demo Reel: A showcased project (university or personal) that demonstrates clean logic, UI implementation, or physics-based interactions.


Real-Time Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with modern UE5 features like Lumen, Nanite, and the Niagara VFX system. 


Version Control: Basic experience with Git, Perforce, or SVN for collaborative development.  


Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and a genuine desire to stay updated on the latest Unreal Engine updates.

11 - Associate Unreal Engine Developer (Entry-Level)

Job Description - France, United Kingdom, Remote

Feature Implementation: Assist in building and modifying gameplay mechanics using Blueprints and basic C++ under the guidance of senior developers. 


Asset Integration: Import and set up 3D models, textures, and animations from artists into the Unreal Engine environment, ensuring proper collision and LOD settings. 


Bug Fixing & Optimization: Identify, document, and resolve minor technical issues and performance bottlenecks in existing scenes or scripts. 


Collaborative Development: Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning, working closely with Artists and Designers to bring creative visions to life. 


Technical Documentation: Maintain clear notes on code and systems you develop to ensure the team can easily understand and iterate on your work. 


Version Control: Use industry-standard tools like Git or Perforce to manage code changes and collaborate on a shared project repository. 

Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills

Foundational Education: Degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related technical field (or equivalent self-taught portfolio). 


UE Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Unreal Editor interface, including Actors, Components, and the Level Editor. 


Scripting & Logic: Proficiency in Blueprints Visual Scripting; basic comfort with C++ syntax and object-oriented programming (OOP). 


3D Mathematics: Solid grasp of 3D math concepts, including vectors, matrices, dot products, and quaternions for movement and rotation. 


Portfolio/Projects: A portfolio showcasing at least 2-3 personal projects or "game jam" entries that demonstrate a working knowledge of game loops. 


Bonus - Real-Time Tech: Familiarity with specific UE systems like Niagara (VFX), Lumen/Nanite, or UMG (UI) is a significant plus.

18 - 2D Artist (Intern)

Job Description - Multiple Locations

Concept & Asset Creation: Assist senior artists in creating high-quality 2D assets, including concept art, character designs, environments, and UI elements that align with the project's artistic vision. 


Iterative Design: Participate in the full creative lifecycle—from rough sketches and thumbnails to final polished renders—incorporating feedback from Art Leads. 


Engine Integration: Learn to prepare and optimize 2D textures and sprites for seamless integration into Unreal Engine 5, ensuring they meet technical performance standards. 


Visual Storytelling: Contribute to world-building through environmental storytelling and prop design that enhances the narrative depth of our digital worlds. 


Collaboration: Work closely with Technical Artists and Animators to ensure 2D designs are functional for rigging and animation within the engine. 


Asset Management: Assist in maintaining organized file structures and documentation for the art department to ensure efficient hand-offs. 

Preferred Qualifications

Artistic Foundation: Strong understanding of traditional art fundamentals, including anatomy, color theory, lighting, perspective, and composition.


Software Proficiency: High level of skill in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, or Affinity Designer. 


Technical Awareness: Basic understanding of game development pipelines and how 2D art translates into a 3D environment (e.g., UV texturing, sprite sheets). 


Portfolio: A digital portfolio or ArtStation link demonstrating a diverse range of styles, from stylized to realistic, and a keen eye for detail. 


Soft Skills: A "growth mindset" with the ability to take constructive criticism and a passion for staying updated on the latest trends in digital art. 


Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Fine Arts, Game Design, Illustration, or a related field.
